Our Story
At Rhythm and Roots, our mission is to provide children in Qatar with quality music education that allows children to sing, dance, explore and learn and in a fun and engaging way.
Rhythm and Roots was set up by a music specialist and UK primary school teacher, Samantha Millard. Samantha has been teaching for over 15 years in various settings, and more recently, has developed early years music education in a British school in Qatar. She has a passion for Early Years Education and believes that music is the key to unlocking not only children's musical ability, but has a much wider impact on learning. She is excited to now be sharing this passion, experience and knowledge with the wider community through music sessions, training and workshops around Qatar.

Boogie Mites sessions launch here in Qatar!
Rhythm and Roots are proudly delivering Boogie Mites music programmes from the UK, here in Qatar! These musical classes provide children under the age of 5 with fun, musical and sensory - filled activities that they can share with their family members.

Rhythm and Roots provides in-person training and workshops to early years practitioners to help develop the confidence and knowledge in delivering an effective music curriculum in schools and nurseries. Training and workshops can be adapted to suit the needs of the educators and the children.

Our goal is to ensure that every child feels successful, happy, and included. By creating a fun, relaxed, and positive atmosphere, we aim to help each child thrive and enjoy their time with us.
Our sessions go beyond just music! We strive to develop self confidence, explore emotions and self expression, listening and attention skills and physical development.
